More about me...I started drawing portraits in colored pencil 21 years ago and switched to oils when I learned to paint after tutoring from a Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts award-winning graduate.
I have won local awards, have my work in a permanent university collection, been gallery represented, and have received fun local press and been on t.v. with my portraits. But my favorite honor is being chosen to paint a pet portrait (or human!) Unlike most artists, I LOVE the commission process, love working one on one with my customers. I like to know a little something about the personality of my subjects because I think I get a better likeness when I know something about them!

Oil Paintings, 4 to 7 weeks, usually, depending on time of year, complexity of your painting and drying time.

When to Order For Christmas?
It is never too early! Every year I have to disappoint because I can't accept all of the orders of people who want a custom portrait in time for Christmas. Much better to order WAY in advance to guarantee delivery for Christmas gift giving.
